Our story
Hi, I’m Sara — though my grandkids call me Nona. I began making lifelike dolls after going through profound tragedies in my life. To my surprise, these little ones brought me comfort and a sense of peace I hadn’t felt in a long time.
There’s a reason for that: holding a baby releases oxytocin, the hormone tied to bonding and calm. I wanted others to be able to feel that too.
My husband, Geep, is a huge part of everything we do here. Together, our goal is to make therapeutic companions that are affordable and accessible.
Every doll leaves our home with outfits, accessories and a personalized prayer.
An honest note about our dolls
We do not create our own moulds — we reborn them to make them come to life. Our blank moulds come from a manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, and each one is painted by Nona here in Central Texas. There may be some visible seam lines from when they were poured.
